I’m super excited to share my very first video product review with you guys. This is the first of several products I will be reviewing from benefit cosmetics in the coming weeks, and this week, I’m happy to share my Brows-A-Go-Go Review!
SPOILER ALERT: I love this product! (I mean, c’mon… How can I not? Check out the difference between the undone left brow and the completed right brow in the picture to the left.)
I’ve been using Brows-A-Go-Go kit for a few weeks now and I have to tell you, it’s a huge step up from my former brow products. Prior to using this kit, I was using the Sephora brand eyebrow pencil, and although it wasn’t awful, the finished product was nowhere near as natural as this. Psst… Before you start shaping your brows, make sure you’ve checked out my Eyebrow Mapping tutorial.
I have a unique situation when it comes to my brows because of an unfortunate scar on my left brow. The scar makes using a traditional eyebrow pencil a real pain, so the Brows-A-Go-Go kit’s “brow zings wax” and “brow zings powder” makes creating fuller, more natural looking brows much easier for me.
Note: I have not received any compensation to review these products, and the opinions expressed in this post are my own. This is NOT a sponsored review.

- Step-by-Step instructions making it easy for anyone to use.
Brow Zings Wax
This is the first step of the Brows-A-Go-Go kit. Simply dip the Hard Angle side of the brush into the wax and glide across your brow to hold it in place. The wax doesn’t do much for actually filling in your brow, but it does provide a slight tint and holds the brow in place.
Brow Zings Powder in Light
Since I’m blonde, I mostly use the light powder, and when used with the Talent Brush, after applying the Brow Zings Wax, filling in any empty spots in the brow is so easy. The powder is light enough that it doesn’t go on too heavy, and is easy to correct if you use a little too much.
Brow Zings Powder in Dark
Now, since I’m blonde, this color doesn’t get much use. However, I will use the tiniest bit of this color where the scar is in my left eyebrow to create some depth and make the brow look fuller where there is no hair. It’s also very convenient to have a darker powder for when I do makeup for others that have darker hair.
Brow Highlighting Powder
This is to be applied under the arch of your brow to create a gorgeous highlight. The powder is a light pink with a nice shimmer, and you can use as much or as little as you’d like to match your skin tone/level of highlight needed.
My favorite! I can’t live without this stuff. Seriously… This stuff kicks ass. Apply it as the very last step of your makeup routine (prior to your setting spray, of course) and you will be amazed at how much more awake you look. It’s also great if you’re going to have photos taken, as it really opens your eyes up.
As for the Mini Tweezers and the Smokin’ Liner, I don’t really use either of these. The mini tweezers are difficult to use, and I just haven’t had a need for the Smokin’ Liner just yet.
With that said, check out my video review and let me know what you think!
Here’s the finished product:
